Super Awesome Camera

Remember my life long dream of owning a real awesome camera?
I'm sure you've heard me rant on and on about it a few hundred times...
I am the proud new owner of this beautiful contraption!!!
Pretty intimidating if you ask me!

With complete awesome technology comes the responsibility to learn how to use it ... so i'm trying.
It's a process. It's a whole new language to learn and intimidating to some degree but i welcome the challenge! Who knows maybe someday i'll get into the photography business?
Isn't that how it happens? One buys a pro camera and turns pro immediately?
Sooo not true! There is so much work and talent that comes with photography as a business. Then there's the editing, establishing clientele, branding your product, bookings, finding the time to edit, advertise, establish and maintain personal relationships with clients, gathering a prop collection, staying ahead of the trends, always offering the newest coolest various ways to display your work, working directly with a vendor printer.... that doesn't even make a dent in the creativity being a photographer requires! Do you have space at you home for a studio? Will you rent studio space? Will you rely on the weather to book outdoor shoots? What about traveling? Would you include that in your cost? Editing is not an easy process not only does it take time it takes extreme patience. Not to mention that if you edit while you're at home with your family it takes it's toll with kids, dinner time and deadlines!!!!!
  The list is endless!!!!!

Just remember not everyone has the keen eye photography requires, so be patient with your choice photographer, consider the work that goes into bookings and above all else trust the creative process.
with all that being said here are just a few shots I've taken with my new toy, nothing fancy or super awesome but some crisp and clear pics of my first experience with my canon.

great place to eat in Hatch New Mexico.
They have fun crazy things on their menu like green chili milkshakes and of course great food.
